What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Admin position at Geo Lab Drilling?
We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator for our Winder based office. Some of the responsibilities of the office administrator position will include bookkeeping support, answering incoming phone calls, as well as helping with various tasks around the office. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize competing deadlines and work with little supervision. We are hoping to find someone that loves to tackle new projects and see them through to completion. Someone who is both self-motivated and trustworthy is ideal!
The position is part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, but the right candidate may grow the position into a full-time position. The approximate hours needed are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Create and update records and databases
- Submit timely reports as assigned
- Communicate and confirm job schedule with clients
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Skills
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Able to be a team player for a small office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills; Attentive to detail
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; QuickBooks experience is a plus
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
