Job Duties
- Gathers competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions including the creation of strategic build-ups and process documentation
- Acts as project manager on minor projects by developing forecast models, budgets, resource allocation, and project plans
- Leads change management work streams with the use of tactical methodologies on projects
- Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation
- Interprets data related to product performance gathered from Finance Directors from the lines of business
- Responsible for the updating and maintenance of data, version controls, and document of key initiatives and SFAs
- Prepares, circulates, and reports SMO communication materials and other collateral, including but not limited to presentation materials, website content update, RFPIO, external communication, SFAs, and other SMO-related activities
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Strategic Analysis and Project Management related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination education and experience
- Knowledge of 3 party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management is preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, business processes, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and processes
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
