Job Duties: -
· Processes invoices within procurement system
· Creates and monitors purchase orders and change orders
· Participates in software asset management (SAM) processes to ensure user licenses are managed properly and forecasts additional needs
· Maintains SOWs for contractors and monitors invoicing to compare actual vs budgeted hours
· Researches and resolves conflicts concerning materials, services, or accounting issues at the department and vendor levels
· Monitors the IT capital budget and work with IT leaders with capital request submissions and reporting
· Reviews IT contracts and proactively monitors for policy and process compliance as well as upcoming renewals
· Continuously reviews efficiencies for the Procurement process
· Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
· High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree preferred
· Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training
· 2 years experience in Excel
· Great Plains experience preferred
· Experience in using P2P systems
· Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers
· Excellent planning and organizational skills
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
