Administrative Assistant/Tax Staff
We are a client-focused CPA firm dedicated to the fullest realization of well-being for our clients and ourselves. We are looking to add an Administrative Assistant/Tax Staff to our team. You will work directly with the owner/operator of the firm, bookkeeping and tax staff to prepare personal and business returns and related financials/tax data. We offer competitive pay and benefits. Essential Functions:
- Individual 1040 Federal/State Tax assembly
- Business 1065, 1120S, 1120C Federal/State Tax assembly
- Franchise Tax assembly
- IRS Notice Correspondence and Follow-up
- Participates on assigned tax engagements
Recommended Skills:
- Tax Software: Experience working with UltraTax and other CS Suite Products a plus but not required
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online a plus but not required
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Experience in a public accounting or professional services firm environment preferred but not required
