Introduction:
The high-volume Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, which serves George Washington's Estate's visitors and the Washington Metropolitan area, is currently seeking to fill Banquet Server positions. The salary for this position is $2.13/hour plus gratuity - average hourly wages typically range from $17.00 - $25.00/hour inclusive of tips.
Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordination and implementation of food service for banquets and private events
- Responsible for guest/client relations
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years banquet server experience preferred
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and flexible
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and be a team player
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings
Special Requirements:
- May be required to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- May be required to lift upwards of 20 lbs
