Job Description The Georgetown Public School District is seeking a highly qualified Long Term High School Social Studies substitute teacher for paternity leave coverage. Social Studies teachers at GMHS work within a collaborative environment to develop engaging and rigorous standards-based lessons that foster critical thinking skills. A successful candidate will find creative ways to present content from multiple perspectives, to prepare students to become active, responsible, and involved citizens. Candidates must be reflective, coachable, and excel in two-way communication within a highly professional environment. What You’ll Do Teach assigned 5 periods, with a duty period within a 7 period day.
