Position Title: Environmental Educator FT/Partnership Liaison

Position Summary
The Environmental Educator/Partnership Liaison will be responsible for leading educational programming and providing operational support in relation to the GAI/Clayton County Schools Partnership. The educator would be dedicated to coordinating our partnership events with Clayton County Schools and its education community. This educator would work with the science and STEM coordinators to create and implement curriculum that would advance the development of the partnership. This educator would meet regularly with the coordinators to help implement and edit lesson plans and coursework. This educator would also work with the district and Clayton County Parks and Recreations to create educational program around marine science. This position's responsibility would include working with the elementary and middle schools in the Clayton to create an aquaculture feeder program that allows students the opportunity to join and pathway from elementary to college in aquaculture and marine biology. This position is a grant funded and will be re-evaluated on an annually. Duration of this position will be contingent on funding.
