Start your career in public service. The Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) is a statutory agreement between all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands.
The agreement governs the placement of children from one state into another state. It sets forth the requirements that must be met before a child can be placed out of state.
The Compact ensures prospective placements are safe and suitable before approval, and it ensures that the individual or entity placing the child remains legally and financially responsible for the child following placement. JOIN OUR TEAM!!!
Pay Grade: LUnder broad supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in functional area. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues. Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment. May administer or provide high level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions. Assists with orientation, training, or providing task guidance of junior team members. Provides strategic analysis. Roles and Responsibilities:- Process and assign ICPC requests within 3 business days of receipt.
- Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Gathers, compiles and analyzes data.
- May participate as a member of internal and external committees and task forces to assess policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepares and analyzes operational statistics, reports, or other data.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND Four (4) years of experience related to area of assignment.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills/experience:- Master's degree from an approved, accredited college or university AND one (1) year human services supervisory work experience with DFCS (or comparable human services agency) managing Foster Care and/or Adoptions.
- Bachelor's degree from an approved, accredited college or university AND two (2) years human services supervisory work experience with DFCS (or comparable human services agency) managing Foster Care and/or Adoptions.
