Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Assistant Registrar position in the Enrollment Services division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
Reporting to the Registrar, the full-time Assistant Registrar is responsible for handling registration and students records and maintaining the integrity of students’ personal information and academic records. The Assistant Registrar works in conjunction with the team to serve the Atlanta Technical College community with excellence, integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
· Process transfer evaluations, graduation audits, degree progress audits, and other official university documentation relating to student academic records.
· Support and serve students, faculty, academic advisors, and administrators by interpreting and clarifying College policies regarding catalogue and curriculum requirements.
· Represents the office of the Registrar in its fullest capacity as it relates to HOPE calculations, CHECS Historical snapshot reviews and error checking.
· Works closely with the Admissions manager to rectify/remedy NSCH and state enrollment/graduation errors.
· Works closely with financial aid/student account department to resolve student registration revenue case.
· Process grade reports (including final grade submissions), NO SHOWS, withdrawals, registration/enrollment changes, and other requests as needed.
· Creates concise, clear reports related to student issues.
· Provides student information system training to personnel.
· Create and modify administrative and staff student information accounts; and
· Perform additional duties assigned by the Registrar.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess and demonstrate an Associate degree AND One (1) year of related work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment; OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND Two (2) years of related work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be considered for candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate the following:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher AND three (3) or more years of work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment.
• Knowledge of FERPA guidelines with the ability to explain them to others.
• Experience in the use of a Student Information System (preferably BANNER) to successfully deliver registration services and maintain student records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (most importantly, Excel) and other computer software/databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff, and contributing to a culture of inclusion, mutual understanding, and respect.
