Waycross Judicial Circuit – Assistant Public Defender I, II, III, or IV
The Waycross Judicial Circuit is seeking to fill an Assistant Public Defender position. This position can be filled at the APD I, II, III, or IV level, depending on experience. Primary duties will include representation of indigent criminal defendants in the Superior Courts of the six counties of the Waycross Judicial Circuit. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position. Experience in all areas of criminal defense, including having served as lead counsel in jury trials, is preferred. The chosen applicant will be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia and must have a strong commitment to indigent criminal defense.
