ABOUT
The Georgia Swarm Professional Lacrosse Organization is an esteemed member of the National Lacrosse League and the leading box lacrosse team in the greater Atlanta region. Our front office is based in Duluth, GA, and our games take place at the Gas South Arena.
EXPECTATIONS:
Please note that this is an unpaid internship which may be leveraged as appropriate for post-secondary course credit. The Graphic Design Intern position for the Georgia Swarm is responsible for any and all creative undertakings by the club across a variety of media including web, print, promotional items and arena installation/environment. The intern will service all departments with any creative or design needs, from initial concepts to final production, execution and/or distribution. The Intern Designer is responsible for maintaining the visual integrity of the club as perceived by the market, and for strengthening brand presence within that market. He or she must demonstrate the ability to supply creative solutions on a daily basis to a variety of requested projects while remaining organized and on task.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Organize and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress
- Formulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, merchandise, installations, and other collateral from initial idea to final execution
- Develop understanding of target audience and market for specifically aimed marketing pieces
- Design advertisements, print materials, still digital imaging for social and web graphics
- Meet all advertising and print deadlines
- Organize graphics, photos, and digital aspects
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing or have a degree in graphic design, business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related fields
- Applicants will be asked to provide samples of their past design work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to collaborate in a creative environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft programs preferred
