Development Project Manager

Geosam is a private real estate development and management firm with operations in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Texas. We own and manage several commercial and residential properties and have many exciting new land development and construction projects underway.

The Role: Development Project Manager

As the Development Project Manager, you will oversee assigned projects from plan to delivery. Other job responsibilities will include the following

• Point of contact with consultants and contractors.
• Maintain , manage and update budgets and schedules.
• Develop and maintain a network of consultants and contractors to bid & engage work and ensure they diligently follow-thru on their scope of work and deliverables.
• Work with City/Municipal/Agency staff to ensure our permits and applications are appropriately reviewed, processed, and ultimately obtained.
• Research and understand various municipal/utility/agency land development codes and processes relevant to projects they are assigned.
• Execute and deliver on project budgets and schedule.
• Prepare and update progress reporting for development projects.
• Will coordinate with construction team on vertical construction project.

As the Development Project Manager, you will possess the following qualifications:

• College/University in Business/Construction Management/Project Management
• Two (2) years minimum experience of progressively increasing project management responsibility and experience in land development, horizontal construction
• Financial acumen: minimization of controllable costs and optimum utilization of resources
• Ability to effectively work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical and writing capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to have experienced discussions with contractors, inspectors and engineers
• Willingness to work daily anywhere within 1.5 hours of Downtown Atlanta.
