Position Summary: | Perform routine inspections of residential, private, and commercial construction sites to ensure that projects are compliant with local, state, and federal storm water regulations. Prepare, send, and track inspection reports based on inspection findings. Attend client meetings, conferences, seminars, and training. |
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be willing to commute to constructions sites, meetings, etc. on a daily basis.
- Must be able to occasionally work in adverse conditions including walking on construction sites in diverse conditions such as uneven terrain, dusty conditions, heat, cold, and wet weather.
- Must be personable and able to professionally communicate and interact with project associates such as superintendents, project managers, regulatory officials, developers, engineers, etc.
- Willing to work in both outside and office environments with efficient and responsible time management skills.
- Develop and nurture customer relationships across various industry sectors (public/private) to create trusted consultant relationships. Sustain and grow key customers accounts that value GeoSolutions’ business model.
Education/Qualifications Requirements:
- College degree in related field is preferred but not required.
- Storm water, erosion control, construction inspection, or related certifications (such as CPESC, CESSWI, or CISEC) and experience is desired but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, PDF, Excel, and email.
- Requires the ability to read (or learn how to read) and decipher basic civil construction plans/drawings and reports.
