Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Buyer for the sourcing team who will be responsible for selecting and purchasing lines of products. You will also be responsible for negotiations, building relationship with supply chain stakeholders to secure competitive pricing, and supporting Geotab's global teams. What you'll do: As a Buyer your key area of responsibility will be managing and quoting electronic components for engineering, production, new suppliers and OEM, ensuring that purchase orders (POs) are in place. You will manage set up of new parts, product, and manage non inventory/inventory components buying. You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Purchasing, Fulfilment and Production teams, as well as communicate with external vendors. To be successful in this role you will be a strong team-player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
