Summary
GEOTEK, a market leader in high-performance manufactured products, is looking for a highly motivated human resources intern to join our HR team. As an HR intern, you will have the opportunity to support all areas of HR from recruiting, engagement, talent development, and operations.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and driven, detail oriented, a self-starter, and capable of multi-tasking and managing and prioritizing work. Key areas of responsibility are:
- Assist and support the recruiting process, including scheduling interviews and coordination of schedules & availability
- Assists with social media marketing for employer brand and recruiting messaging
- Assists employee engagement initiatives, including gathering real time feedback and regular check ins with employees
- Assists talent development initiatives, including identifying talent and development opportunities for upskilling and reskilling labor
- Assists with program implementation and refreshing initiatives to align to business needs
- Other HR duties as assigned, including creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), file maintenance and auditing, reporting, and other applicable tasks and projects to the internship.
Job Requirements
- Preferred; student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or another related field. Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook)
- Strong demonstration of professional skills and work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, are essential.
Physical Work Conditions
- Office work requires sitting/standing at a desk, using a computer and phone.
- While on the production floor, there will be work with and around moving machinery, fumes, and chemicals.
