German American Society in Omaha, NE is looking for a Head Cook to join our team to prepare for groups of 25-300. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual and reliable.


Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise assisting staff and volunteers
  • Prepare established menu items and create new menu items
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Calculate the amount of food to be ordered and prepared, as well as supplies
  • Track costs and inventory

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a cook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • ServSafe certified or will acquire within 60 days

Compensation based on skills and experience, up-to $24/hour. Commission after 90-day review.
