What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early College Advisor position at Germanna Community College?
Early College programs include Germanna Scholars, serving Culpeper County high schools, and the Gladys P. Todd Academy, serving Fredericksburg City and Spotsylvania County high schools. Participants work toward their high school diploma and a transferable associate degree from Germanna at the same time. Both programs were created with the goal of increasing access to higher education, especially those who would be the first in their families to go to college. The Part-Time Academic Advisor’s role will be to assist the Early College students, faculty and staff by providing various forms of support services, including but not limited to administrative duties, scheduling, and overall student support.
