- Responsible for Vehicle operator support and scheduling, on-time pullout, productivity, extra board assignments, lost and found management, safety
- Accountable for Service reliability and maintenance coordination
- Consulted about Unplanned changes that affect performance, such as route detours, heavy traffic, and no shows, etc.
- Informed of Changes to routes start and end times
- Have a DOT physical is an added preference.
Responsibilities:
- The window dispatcher manages all operator duties, including report times, vehicle assignments, and the distribution of manifests, bulletins, and other pertinent information. Each MV window dispatcher is trained in reasonable suspicion and is responsible for assessing operators in fitness for duty. They must also complete MV’s operator training program.
- The window dispatcher coordinates extra board operators as needed. The window dispatcher also coordinates with the maintenance department for vehicle exchanges, maintenance pulls, and submission of vehicle inspection/defect forms. They also review trip manifests and pre-trip forms for accuracy and support the fare reconciliation process.
- This position is proficient in Trapeze PASS, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office.
