Get Fresh Produce has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users in the Chicago area. As our Night Expeditor, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for the operations and dispatch teams. You will work with several departments to create maximum efficiencies to offer our customers the best-in-class service.
Essential Functions:
- Organize loading assignments and order selection assignments
- Review customer orders and ensure load capacity is not exceed and recommend/make adjustments
- Review truck loading assignments and dock door assignments
- Work closely with Yard Spotters to call out truck moves to be made within our yards
- Assist Inventory Control on product location, quality checks, label printing and review quality control check customer orders
- Support Night Warehouse Managers by answering phones and emails
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of comfort with technology, Microsoft Outlook and ERP systems
- Handling and understanding billing/shipping paperwork
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to listen for needs, check for understanding and accuracy, and build relationships with other employees
- Experience in foodservice or Distribution a plus
- Accurate and efficient at clerical tasks in a distribution environment
- Legally able to work in the US
- Able to speak and write fluently in English, bilingual a plus
Work Schedule:
- Sunday through Friday, Saturday and 1 day during the week off
- Start time of 6:00pm until the work is completed, approximately 6:00pm-4:00am
- Holidays and Sundays are required
- Bartlett, IL location, this is an in-person position

Compensation:
- Hourly Non-Exempt $19.00-$20.00 hour based on experience
