Occupational Therapist - School Setting (Contract Position)

Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. Candidates with virtual experience in school settings are encouraged to apply, as we are open to various options. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to interview this week and begin next week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students ranging from PreK to adults throughout the district.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each student's occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students' specific goals and objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to promote student success and engagement in school activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and all required paperwork to ensure compliance and facilitate communication.
  
  

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Previous experience in a school setting is essential, with remote experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster a supportive educational environment.
