We are on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (K-12) who is adept at creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive and reach their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalized educational plans and instructional programs tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress and provide thoughtful recommendations regarding curriculum adjustments and necessary accommodations.
Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborating with fellow educators, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Required Skills And Abilities
Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute effective instructional strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Dedication to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Education & Experience
Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid state license or certification in Special Education.
Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting, preferably with diverse student populations.
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
Employment Type: Full-Time
