Are you a strategic and collaborative leader seeking a pivotal role within a reputable institution? We are looking for a Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration to serve as the chief finance officer and a key member of our leadership team. Your expertise will shape the financial, administrative, operational, and strategic direction of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies and budgets aligned with the university's mission, vision, and goals. Provide expert guidance on financial planning, risk management, and compliance.

Financial Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans and budgets to ensure the university's financial stability through meticulous planning and analysis.

Operational Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio including auxiliary services, IT, facilities, safety, and security. Implement policies and systems to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Resource Stewardship: Cultivate a culture of transparency and stewardship, developing innovative resource allocation strategies supporting academic and operational goals.

Community and Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with educational, corporate, and community organizations to enhance the university's resources and revenue streams.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in business, finance, or related field, with a preference for higher education or public sector background.

Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial management, and leadership skills. Excellent communication abilities to effectively engage with all university stakeholders.

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Typically Monday to Friday with additional hours as needed to ensure financial health and operational effectiveness of the institution.
