Key Responsibilities
- Establish connections between contracted entities and Coalition Forces objectives.
- Incorporate HUMINT and SIGINT insights into comprehensive weekly intelligence evaluations.
- Investigate and identify individuals attempting unauthorized access to CJOA bases.
- Analyze the funding strategies of insurgents through contractual engagements.
- Scrutinize the links between high-risk vendors and influential political or military figures.
- Generate detailed intelligence assessments concerning assigned vendors.
- Provide advanced analytical guidance to both military and civilian analysts.
- Conduct thorough all-source intelligence research during the vetting process to assess vendor risk levels.
- Oversee requests for information (RFIs) and produce intelligence assessments on various vendors.
- Counsel military and DoD analysts regarding threats affecting force protection and monitor relevant threat reports.
- Develop and present in-depth intelligence products tailored for senior leadership, addressing both operational and strategic concerns.
- Evaluate factors such as culture, religion, politics, and military behavior as they relate to governance and development.
- Collaborate on intricate analytical challenges to achieve effective resolutions.
- Interact with General Officers, Senior Executive Service officials, and high-ranking government representatives.
- Brief senior officials on vendor-related risks to coalition installations.
- Educate officials on vendor vetting procedures and best practices.
- Deliver ad hoc reports, including RFIs for high-risk vendors and provide daily verbal updates to leadership.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution; OR six (6) years of pertinent experience in lieu of a Master's; OR a Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience, with some involvement in the last two (2) years.
- Ten (10) years of military experience in Military Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence, or equivalent roles within the DoD or government agencies.
- Multiple deployments across various Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven capability to effectively brief senior leadership.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced computer applications and intelligence-related tools to enhance analysis and product development.
- Expertise in regional issues, particularly within Southwest Asia (SWA), and political analysis.
- Master's degree.
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level intelligence analysts.
- Familiarity with DoD Special Operations intelligence.
- Language proficiency in Dari, Pashto, German, or Italian is advantageous.
