Position Title: Accountant
Location: Sparks, NV 89434 (HYBRID)
Duration: 3-6 Months with possibility of extension
Position Type: Hourly Contract Position (W2 only)
Schedule/Remote Flexibility: Mon-Fri, hybrid after training, expected to come in 3X/week
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hours Per Week: 40
Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
Interview Process: 1st interview online, 2nd panel interview with finance members preferably in person but can be done online
Team Size: Approximately 15 individuals across three different accounting groups
Purpose/Mission of Team: We are currently undergoing a new software implementation that requires additional support for everyday functions until completion. Join our team for opportunities for upward mobility and involvement in exciting new projects.
Job Summary
As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in administering, designing, and ensuring compliance with general accounting, cash management, fixed asset, and audit processes. Operating with limited supervision, you will focus on accuracy, reconciling ledger accounts, and assisting in controlling fixed asset planning and acquisitions.

Essential Qualifications
- Proficiency in cash application, fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries
- Experience with SAP and Ariba preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer needs and confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working-level knowledge of the English language
- Financial review and analysis experience
- Exposure to SAP and Power BI
- Positive, professional, and accommodating attitude
- Strong judgment and alignment with client's core principles
