Job Description
As the Director of Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in our Medical Center's financial operations, overseeing internal and external reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and process enhancements. We're seeking a proactive leader with a passion for driving financial performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly internal reports for executive review.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with department directors on annual budgeting.
- Monitor budget performance and provide forecasts.
- Offer insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Mentor staff and provide guidance on financial matters.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- 5 years of progressive finance leadership, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
