You will have the opportunity to provide direct care within Skilled Nursing Facilities, contributing to the mental health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face psychiatric services to patients within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients’ mental status and symptoms effectively.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders accurately and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize medical decision-making skills to address mental health issues, including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological options.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists on clinical cases.
• Telehealth options are available for certain services.
  
  

Job Type

• Part-time and full-time positions available, including hybrid options (Telehealth and SNF).
• Compensation available on a W2 billable hourly basis or as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Washington nursing license in good standing, specializing in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (must have DEA).
• Malpractice insurance required for Independent Contractors (provided for W2 employees).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Geriatric Psychiatry.
• At least 1 year of experience providing treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehabilitation Hospitals.
  
  

Skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (experience with Athena I is a plus).
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to function effectively under stress with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay

• Competitive rates ranging from \(63.00 to \)88.00 per billable hour, with options for W2 or Independent Contractor.
