Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage databases across all environments and regions to support development, QA, and production systems.
- Continuously improve database performance, efficiency, and security.
- Implement fault-tolerant, high-availability database architectures with cross-region replication and failover capabilities.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and development teams to optimize database queries and enforce best practices.
- Evaluate, test, and deploy database changes to support new system deployments, features, and improvements.
- Participate in a 24⁄7 on-call rotation to address escalated issues impacting production systems.
- 6 years of experience in RDS/MySQL database operation and management.
- In-depth knowledge of database management best practices, including performance tuning, backup/restore, real-time replication, disaster recovery, and security.
- A proactive and results-driven self-starter who always strives for excellence.
- A confident team player who thrives in dynamic environments.
- Strong engineering mindset - prioritize documentation and design before implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
