Position: Business Development Manager - Partnerships
Are you passionate about gaming and building impactful relationships? We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our international Partnerships team. You will oversee global relationships with new and existing partners, ranging from lifestyle to gaming, to help us achieve our goal of recognizing every gamer and positively impacting the gaming community.
Key Responsibilities
Pitch and Present: Actively pitch our gaming solutions, including personalization efforts, to a diverse range of partners.
Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of key global partners.
Sales and Marketing: Develop sales opportunities, co-op marketing promotions, and purchase programs to boost sales through partners or our e-commerce platforms.
Brand Promotion: Strive to make our gaming brands the top choice for collaboration opportunities, seeking innovative activations that stand out in the industry.
Relationship Leverage: Maximize value from relationships while balancing business goals, product launches, available resources, and stakeholder commitments.
Marketing Plans: Create and execute custom marketing plans and campaigns to increase brand and product visibility.
Project Management: Handle a variety of requests including artwork creation, content planning, product shipments, legal documents, social media, etc.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Finance, 3D Print, Product Management, and Compliance.
Support and Assist: Assist other teams with partnership efforts, proposals, and vetting as needed.
Event Management: Responsible for partner events and identifying potential collaborations for company-owned events.
Revenue Optimization: Optimize revenue generation and performance.
Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations and manage partnership agreements with internal teams.
Reporting: Manage internal reports and presentations on partnership activities, metrics, and KPIs.
Research and Trends: Stay updated on licensing news, gaming trends, and technology, including AI.
Required Skills And Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor's or University degree in Business Development, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5 years of experience in a fast-paced company.
Proactive Attitude: True self-starter who is proactive, independent, responsive, adaptable, and takes ownership.
Relationship Building: Expert at building and maintaining relationships.
Presentation Skills: Powerful and effective presenter.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in business development.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiator with contract management experience.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in both local and international remote teams.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and creative thinking with commercial awareness.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Background: Experience in technology and/or gaming is preferred.
