Geva Theatre seeks a person with arts administration assistance experience and a working knowledge of the theatre industry to join the Connectivity Department team as Connectivity Assistant/Education. Knowledge of local educational communities is a plus.
Reporting to the Director of Education and working closely with others on the Connectivity team including the Associate Artistic Director/Director of Connectivity and Connectivity Assistant/Engagement as well as various other departments at Geva, this support position contributes to the organization through the scheduling and booking of Geva’s various Education programs; communicates with educators and administrators to reserve student matinee tickets and facilitate payments; and connects with parents/guardians and students to schedule auditions and enrollment for students in Geva’s conservatory programs. They also assist with other educational programs and events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, time management, collaboration, and organizational skills as well as experience with excel Microsoft 365 applications with the ability to learn patron ticketing software systems. The ability to work successfully with people from multiple communities and backgrounds is also critical to this position.
This position is full time. The pay rate is $17 per hour with benefits.
