DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for positions throughout the organization.
- Form a strategic relationship with hiring managers to recruit for high priority job markets. Communicate with hiring managers to understand their current and upcoming hiring needs.
- Create marketing and candidate attraction strategies for unique or hard to fill positions. Work with all departments on the best solutions to reach the talent needed in their department.
- Maintain good public relations status with the various industry, trade association and civic organizations, and businesspeople in the community regarding recruiting and hiring practices
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a college recruitment strategy. The recruiter must develop relationships with colleges and trade schools to ensure recruitment opportunities. Responsible for attending college career fairs for purposes of recruitment.
- Work with the Employee Relations Coordinator on all job postings (internal and external) and on the onboarding of new hires, including background checks, drug screens, e-verify, etc.
- Develop ideas and creative solutions to improve the process of recruiting for potential candidates.
- Support research and development of policies, procedures, handbooks, brochures, HR programs and training.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews on all employees throughout the organization.
- Assure that company employment, safety, labor relations, personnel and equal opportunity policies and practices comply with the applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Work with Director of HR on job descriptions and job grading. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and storing job descriptions for the Company.
- Ensure that Georgia Farm Bureau’s talent acquisition processes and best practices are executed.
- Report to management on key recruiting metrics to gauge the efficacy of talent acquisition at Georgia Farm Bureau.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals, and other documents as required. Excellent telephone, public relations, and oral/written communication skills required. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Must possess basic skills with computers including experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and familiar with typical company web-based system applications. May include working outside of normal office hours.
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred area of study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or Marketing.
- Three to Five years of experience in Human Resources and/or recruiting experience required.
- Experience related to recruitment marketing, online sourcing, and social recruitment desired.
- Experience in EEO, state, and federal compliance is desired.
- Must be able to manage highly sensitive information with confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Superior verbal communication skills are essential to attain critical information, convey understanding and provide effective feedback.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
