Dialysis Nurse - Transplant Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with Dialysis experience. This position is for a Transplant Coordinator - Dialysis for this healthcare system in Lehigh County.

Duties:

  • Daily care of transplant patients in the outpatient clinic. Patient education to patients & families.
  • Coordinates care and discharge of patients from the inpatient setting.
  • Participate in on call duties for the transplant program on a rotating basis
  • Work with the Organ Procurement Organization and on call surgeons to determine suitability of donor organs.
  • Manages admission of potential donor and recipient to hospital for surgery.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p

Compensation: 85-120K (depending on years of experience)

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in PA
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in dialysis nursing or related field
- Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and medications
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care tasks
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
