Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance is looking for an experience IT Technician for our Fairfield County.
Position purpose:
Provide technical support to practice offices, CBO, and physicians.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and system groups.
Qualifications
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular fields. • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Education:
An Associates’ Degree or equivalent and 1-4 years of experience in the IT or related field.
Experience:
1-4 years of IT, or related field, experience
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p ; with flexibility to work nights and/or Saturdays when there is a project ; Potential to work remote
Performance Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient technical (computer) skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Self-motivated with initiative.
- Strong sense of ethics.
- Ability to travel to office locations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds including carrying this amount of weight up flights of stairs.
Equipment Operated:
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Environment: This job operates in professional office environments.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. Additional Qualifications:
- Required certification in A , with additional certification required in at least one of the following: Network , Security , MCP, CCENT, or VCP. Even without VCP, a basic understanding of VMWare is preferred.
Requirements for Level I Status:
- Entry level (1-4 years experience) and/or meet the basic requirements of the job with the need for additional supervision.
- Excess of 4 years experience if meeting only the basic requirements of the job with need for additional supervision.
