GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Supply Coordinator.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
Performs all duties related to purchasing materials, products or services, including inventory control, necessary for operation of company.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

- Purchases supplies, equipment and services for all locations of the company.
- Responsible for accounts payable and any other accounting duties requested.
- Receives, stores and issues materials from stockroom.
- Ensures the best possible terms for the company by routinely and formally requesting bids on supplies and negotiating for guaranteed prices from selected vendors.
- Maintains supply inventories at economic levels consistent with sound business practice within existing space constraints. Reviews inventory of stock items to ensure that level is consistent with usage.
- Maintains stock room(s) in an orderly manner.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.
- Uses oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with Gastrointestinal Associates policies and objectives.
- Maintains established Gastrointestinal Associates’ policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and environmental and financial stewardship.
- Cooperates with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Implements job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with Gastrointestinal Associates’ Mission and Code of Ethics and is supportive of the Group’s cultural diversity objectives.
- Performs other related work as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Two years of office experience with a minimum of one year of purchasing experience preferred.

Performance Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient technical (computer) skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Self-motivated with initiative.
- Strong sense of ethics.
Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Environment: This job operates in professional office environments.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
