Gibson Brands is looking for a passionate, detailed, highly organized Brands Coordinator to join our team. This Brands Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Brands and will be responsible for supporting brand campaign development, marketing communications and product planning. The Coordinator lives in a fast-paced environment responsible for organizing brand initiative, overseeing those initiatives to completion, and communicating updates and breaking news to the Gibson enterprise. The candidate will work in a cross-functional matrix together with Product Development, Marketing Operations, Commercial, and Cultural Influence to drive new product introductions and brand initiatives. The Brands team at Gibson drives the brand vision and mission thru brand initiatives and product planning, and this role supports all Gibson teams in staying aware of those plans.
Essential Functions
- Support Brand Managers in setting up new projects alongside Marketing Operations for time tracking and sourcing materials
- Proofread wide assortment of materials specific to Marketing Communications and Product Introduction. Examples being product packaging, warranty documents, campaign material, user-guides, etc.
- Craft templated emails sharing the latest Brand department updates to the global enterprise
- Maintain accuracy in our Product Launch Calendar
- Support in building and maintaining brand standards across all Brands internally and externally.
- Execute forecast and sample request to our commercial team providing guidance to the Brand Manager
- Minor industry research and analysis, including reviewing key competitors and industry data
- Support in distribution of Marketing material to internal Gibson teams – Commercial, Cultural Influence, etc.
- Order entry for giveaway products and materials
- Project manage collateral development across all brands
- Develop and refine effective workflow processes to support Brand Planning and Marketing Operations
- Maintain understanding of all aspects of brand standards, design, and production process
Required Skills/Abilities
- Understanding of design, copy, and photography, and digital creative deliverables
- Proven track record of facilitating workflow and deadline adherence
- Communicating and building strong connections with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
- Excellent multitasking, project management and communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solver
- Have the eye of a hawk when it comes to copyediting, ensuring that all creative materials are buttoned up and client ready
- You’ll be the gatekeeper in ensuring everything that goes out our door is buttoned up, on-brand, and hits our goals
Required Education and Experience
- AA or BA in Marketing/Communications, Project Management, Business Management or equivalent degree or related work experience (graduate or degree still in process)
- 1-2 years of professional work experience
- Project Management Certification a plus but not required
