Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, a premier international law firm with over 1,600 attorneys and 20 offices in major financial centers worldwide, seeks a Marketing Strategy Coordinator. The primary role of the Marketing Strategy Coordinator is to drive the growth of our business and support lawyers with their marketing initiatives. The Coordinator will prepare and coordinate the delivery of projects across client development, marketing communications, creative services, marketing technology and practice operations, with the guidance and mentorship of the chief marketing officer and other senior leadership.
As a member of the Marketing Team, the Coordinator will learn about our Firm, how we go to market and the technology platforms that support the Firm’s work. Additionally, this role will support department initiatives and own projects in line with the incumbent’s strengths and passions.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the intelligence team to prepare research reports.
- For specific clients and prospective clients, advancing competitive intelligence research and analysis, creating insights and giving the readout.
- Looking over and, across all marketing collateral, ensuring that representative matters are modern and accolade information is relevant and consistent.
- Taking the lead in information architecture, ensuring we have an organization that is easy to maneuver and understand.
- Driving forward the brand strategy implementation to email marketing and social media, including, taking the pen and drafting updates for posting.
- Assisting with the oversight of lawyer and practice photography – ensuring our brand standards are followed; and also, developing a knack for what makes a great photo – as needed, will be relied upon for art direction.
- Owning the global marketing budget, with chief marketing officer support.
- Taking a bottom up approach to organize categories of spend that we want to measure.
- On a monthly basis, leading the effort to capture ROI and make decisions on what investments are worth pursuing.
- Testing our guidelines for governance and answering governance-related questions.
- Building practice operations and strategy function, under the guidance of the chief marketing officer, current practice leaders and other firm leaders.
- Collaborating with the CRM team to ensure high quality client contact data is maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate should exhibit strong attention to detail and communications skills.
- Able to work under pressure and demonstrate strong project management and time management skills.
- The candidate should have exceptional professional interpersonal skills and be able to comfortably interact with executives.
- The ideal candidate should have experience supporting business pitches or learning programs.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in professional services is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
