ABOUT THE JOB:
A Day In The Life As A Mobile Screen Printer -
On your scheduled work day you will wake up at a timely manner, drive to our headquarters, and pick up your equipment for the job, which is a 10' x 8 ' single axle trailer filled with everything you will need to work (usual time frames for this hour fluctuate between 4am to 6am).
Once hooked up and ready to go, your adventure begins. Driving to you job site can be quick or long, some jobs are local in the area and some may be 3 hours away, we typically try to stay under a 2 hour drive for all jobs, but we service all of California.
When you arrive, you will clock in using our mobile clock in system (Homebase) that geo tags the time stamp and location from where you clocked in.
After that, you will have to find the "host" for the job, this is the person that has been in contact with us getting everything prepared and they will show you where to set our equipment up. This location will also sometimes be near by or somewhat of a hike, we stay away for the hikes though.
Once the host has shown you the location of where our equipment will be set up, it is time to start unloading our trailer and getting everything ready. We house all of our equipment under 4 10' x 10' easy up canopies that equals out to approximately 400 Sqft and an average set up time takes anywhere from an hour and a hour and a half to be up and ready to sell.
When you are ready to sell then the rest of the day is pretty straight forward, you will have from a single cashier to multiple depending on the volume of the job. They will sell the product and you will print it. Pretty simple.
Once your scheduled day is to it's end, you will appropriately repack the trailer as it came, lock it up, and drive back to headquarters where you will drop the trailer off and head home.
Your time is paid from when you clock in at the job site, per the arrive time details, to when you hit the road once all packed up. Your gas to the job from headquarters and back from the job are taken care of but the time is NOT paid until you arrive and clock in.
