Qualifications:

Education/essential Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED
  • Manager Serve Safe Certified is a Plus
  • Experience with Customer Service
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Work Environment:

  • Works with major food allergens that contains the following (but not limited to) dairy, wheat, soy, peanut
  • Probable skin contact with cleaning and sanitation chemicals
  • Will be required to withstand time inside of a freezer environment for receiving orders and doing inventories
  • A workday will include time indoors as well as some time outside
  • Will be required to do some outside cleaning, no matter what the weather conditions
  • Typical restaurant equipment in workspace including but not limited to, blender, waffle cone maker, knives, microwave oven

Objective:

  • To lead all aspects of the Dairy Bar business including

o Delivering high quality menu itemso Leading and motivating Stand Family members

o Providing awesome customer service

Sales Growth

  • Stand Daily Coaching and Huddles
  • To have all menu items ready and available for customers
  • To provide quick, efficient, accurate customer service

Cost & Productivity

  • Lead the Stand Family in recipe portion compliance
  • Manage labor within directed instruction of the day
  • Manage labor within the Kronos Management System

Shift Leader Leadership

  • Leadership of GFIC Stand Family & Customer Safety
  • Leadership in food safety directed compliance
  • Leadership of Customer Service
  • To adhere to the Gifford’s Code of Conduct
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area(s)
  • Will be accountable for any task list given by the Stand Manager
  • Will always lead by example

Daily Review of Cash Management

  • Complete daily review of Stand cash up process as well as reporting deficiencies to the Operations Manager immediately
  • Daily review of all GFIC cash reporting documents
  • Corrective actions as required to ensure accuracy

Other Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings as required
  • Complete SM Audit when Stand Manager directs
  • Operate Daily using the Stand Time Management Guide
