What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher - School-Age position at GIFTED CHILD RESOURCES, INC.?
We are looking to hire an individual who has training and experience working with elementary age children in an after school setting. Must have necessary coursework required in Maryland (90 hours school-Age Training or college coursework in Elementary Education) relative to school-age curriculum. Position is part-time during school year and full-time during summers. Additional responsibilities include:
- Create and prepare lessons plans based on interests of the students
- Create and implement interesting and engaging activities.
- May be required to drop off and pick up children at neighboring elementary schools as as well as on field trips
- Drivers License and ability to drive 15-oassenger school bus
- Plan summer activities and field trip
- Communicate well with Parents, Administrators and other staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
