RESPONSIBILITIES:
School Psychologists conduct formal psychological evaluations of students for special education eligibility, planning, placement and consultation. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administer psychological tests of intelligence, personality, neuropsychological processing, achievement, and development to determine student diagnosis
- Observe students in the classroom as well as conduct interviews with parents and school personnel to learn the full scope of a student’s needs
- Provide a continuum of mental and behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, behavioral coaching, positive behavioral supports, and parent education
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree
Salary : $2,891 - $3,212
