Role and Responsibilities
- The Electrical Operations Manager will develop and strengthen the knowledge and expertise of field staff by providing technical and operational support, as well as targeted training and direction.
- Must be extremely self-motivated and driven in a high pace environment.
- Hold managers responsible for following protocols regarding documentation, installation, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist HR and Safety departments with field related initiatives or issues.
- Track the performance of projects in your region and direct your reports to address/correct issues.
- Work directly with Project Managers/ Office Mangers to assist in planning, manpower coordination, etc.
- Conduct and assign project-based evaluations to be reviewed at project closeout with your team, as well as conducting reviews with direct reports with accounting team.
- Develop and lead group training sessions with field personnel on a regular basis.
- Forecast manpower needs for upcoming projects in your division.
- Interview candidates for field roles
- Plan, staff, and supervise all business unit activities including personnel administration, performance management and review, defining functions, responsibilities, etc.
- Ensure positive cash-flow position for the business unit and help drive business and opportunities.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all projects.
- Instill and promote a "win-win" attitude with the Project Managers to ensure successful, profitable work for the company as well as a satisfied customer.
- Coordinate efforts with Business Development Group
- Select/assign project team members based on their experience and the needs of the project.
- Maintain regular positive interface with General and/or Area Superintendent as it relates to the availability of Field Resources, Quality Control, Safety, and Cost at Completion Projects
- Interface with finance department as it relates to revenue recognition, claims preparation, and job site support.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 Years extensive experience in the construction industry
- Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience that is equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of all aspects of construction is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates record of successful project management in complex situations
- Effective organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Accurate, detail oriented, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required for the position.

- The incumbent in this position must also have an extensive background and understanding of technical knowledge, construction management and training.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, prolonged periods sitting at a desk, Driving, walking around jobsites, and working on a computer.
Office Work Environment
The office is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Field Physical Demands
This is largely an active role. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials; Requires repetitive movement; climbing ladders, scaffolds, or poles; standing, walking, and running; using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; and bending or twisting may be required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm; Early arrival and/or Overtime may be necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,122.82 - $72,405.98 per year
