GLG is an associate attorneys with 2-3 years of litigation experience who is self-motivated and eager to grow with the firm. This is a hybrid opportunity that will require some in-person attendance at the downtown office on an as-needed and flexible basis. Candidates looking for full-time or part-time positions are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal research memos;
- Draft discovery requests and responses;
- Draft and argue motions to compel discovery;
- Review and management of electronic document production;
- Draft pleadings, motions, and responses;
- Communications with clients and opposing counsel;
- Prepare for depositions; and
- Court appearances.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- 2-3 years of litigation experience (business litigation experience not required)
- Confidence and eagerness to learn
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to get along well with others and stay calm under pressure
