Position Overview: Gina's Daycare Learning Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our childcare center. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning environment for young children, ensuring the highest quality of care and early childhood education. Key Responsibilities:
- Over see a comprehensive curriculum that fosters children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff to maintain a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements governing early childhood education centers.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on children's progress and maintain open communication channels.
- Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere that promotes diversity and celebrates each child's unique qualities.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track children's development and program effectiveness.
- Conduct performance evaluations for all staff members quarterly.
- Conduct quarterly team meetings.
- Plan and organize special events, activities, and workshops to engage children, parents, and the community.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 120 credits, including at least 30 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in an early childhood education or daycare setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories, best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and children.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment.
- Dedication to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Previous experience with licensing and compliance procedures is a plus.
