SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Data Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely data analysis and reporting for all GSEM departments to support daily business operations and drive data-driven decision-making.
Specializing in the preparation of data, this position works with multiple platforms / systems (Ex. Looker, Volunteer Systems 2.
0, Survey Monkey, and Qualtrics) to provide timely and accurate data reports to meet the needs of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM) staff and support the Girl Scout experience.
This position helps to drive continuous quality improvement by proactively identifying data quality issues, investigating root causes of data-related problems, and supporting the implementation of solutions and corrective action.

This position is an hourly, full-time position with a competitive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as generous paid time off and a retirement plan.
Job experience is considered with the salary offer; the minimum starting salary is $19.86 per hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages the Data Requests Process Track process from beginning to end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of each request.
- Serves as an in-house Looker expert and supports Salesforce report / dashboard creation / maintenance Provides training on Looker and Salesforce reports as needed.
- Assists with customizing existing reports and data manipulation via external processes such as Excel to ensure accuracy of data.
- Create, analyze, and edit surveys as requested.
- Works with other departments to improve data collecting processes and increase efficiency in systems and routines; recommends and documents solutions.
- Supports data quality through regular reviews of data quality reports and acts or causes action to be taken to resolve issues, to resolve data issues and problems.
- Identify data quality issues caused by staff errors and work with Business Systems Manager to implement correction action plans.
- Participate in data quality clean up projects.
- Maintain best practice knowledge and relevant system updates / issues by regularly attending GSUSA webinars (Monthly Data Quality, Looker, etc.
participating in Chatter groups, and connecting with other Girl Scout councils; Share relevant updates with appropriate Council staff and make recommendations for new approaches.
- Provide administrative and back-up support to other departments as needed, especially during peak times.
- Supports the organizational diversity and fund development goals of the organization.
