We have an immediate need for a full-time Senior Clinical Technical Writer.
This position works closely with stakeholders and management to outline, write and edit new and existing content. You will be working closely with various departments to reach GHHC's common goals. Working collaboratively with multiple departments is required for growth and long-term success. Someone who is approachable, reliable, detail-oriented, and who enjoys working both solo and in groups will be very successful in this role. #PIQ

Responsibilities:- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write/edit clinical documents as required under the EEOICPA program
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand documentation requirements
- Maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, standards, and regulations
- Review medical records to find all information pertinent to a patient’s diagnosis
- Understand medical record content – specifically reading labs and testing
- Develop harmonious relationships with internal staff and external hospital and medical groups
- Multitask and prioritize competing requests
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with minimal mistakes
Qualifications:- Requires a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or another related field. Equivalent experience considered; Masters’ degree preferred
- Formal writing or technical procedural writing experience
- Sense of ownership and responsibility towards troubleshooting issues and solutions with self-motivation to accept and complete tasks
- Medical Terminology savvy
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams), SharePoint, Asana (project management software) and eFax
- Calm and steady under pressure
- Sharp memory with a strong analytical mind
- A strong value system, exhibit loyal attributes and is interested in making a difference behind the scenes for our patients and their families
- Must have great interpersonal skills and be a team player
- The ability to handle repetitive tasks and sitting at a computer for an extended period of time

Quarterly Bonuses range from $1,500-$2,500 based on individual performance.
