What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle counter-1st shift position at GKN?
Key Responsibilities :
1) Maintain inventory accuracy at cycle count level that is > 96%.
2) Use a computer, bar scanning devices and associated equipment in a proficient manner.
3) Maintain the assembly cell with delivering materials and removing finished goods in a timely manner.
4) Receive and ship products on a correct and timely manner.
5) Be proficient in operating all material handling equipment in a safe and expeditious manner.
6) Have a working knowledge of KANBAN.
7) Perform any other duties as specified by supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience/ Skills :
1) High School Diploma or GED
2) Demonstrate ability to operate material handling equipment (prefer 2 years previous experience in a high volume warehouse/distribution center).
3) Prefer previous Bar Code experience.
4) Be physically capable of performing all related material handling duties.
5) Possess general problem solving skills.
6) Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
7) Proven written and oral communications skills.
8) Be involved in ongoing training.
