Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for office support to the Human Resources Department by assisting with tasks like payroll processing and other administrative responsibilities.
List of Responsibilities/Duties
These duties include but not limited to, oversees the daily workflow of payrolls, aids in employee requests regarding benefits, salaries, payroll practices, etc. Assists with coordinating all activities within the department.
- Will need excellent communication skills and are important to productivity and work moral of the company.
- Will help to coordinate and maintain employee records and documentation.
- Provides support and guidance to payroll staff, and oversees all payroll from processing, answering employees questions correct documentation for back-up of payroll, checking for errors and working up any manual checks. Creates all reports through the payroll system Inova.
- Assists with all benefit open enrollments and all payroll reconciliations from payroll, to HSA, FSA, Quick books and Great Plains and forfeitures in the spreadsheets in all accounting systems.
- Works up termination payroll for employees last day, from creating the manual check and Wycom signing.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Cooperates and communicates effectively and professionally with all departments and physicians.
- Insures all payrolls are completed and finalized.
- Nurtures a positive work environment at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Background or Educational Requirements
- Position requires 1 -2 years experience within Human Resources.
- Must be able to communicate professionally, both verbally and written with a knowledge of H.R. systems.
- Demonstrated listening skills. Skill in operating computer, calculator and answering multi-line phone system.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate well on phone or verbally.
- Must be able to use the computer and calculator effectively.
- Must be able to adhere to work schedule.
