Controller – Home Healthcare Platform
The Controller role is a highly visible and strategic position, advancing from a local team leader to a company-wide leader for all aspects of the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align closely with organizational goals and contribute actively to financial decision-making, ensuring efficient implementation of leadership decisions.
- Oversee all finance-related tasks across PDN entities, including timely financial statements, balance sheet schedules, revenue reporting, and accounts receivable aging, to meet month-end close deadlines.
- Provide detailed revenue and cost analysis to management, with a focus on key expense drivers and trends for each business segment.
- Serve as a financial liaison to operations, collaborating with PDN and operations leadership on KPIs, P&L forecasting, and resolving branch financial matters such as leases, equipment, and tax-related issues.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to streamline payroll processes and optimize gross profit reporting.
- Participate actively in monthly financial review calls and attend company operations and finance leadership meetings, including travel as needed.
- Support PDN audit and tax requirements, ensuring compliance with reporting and filing obligations.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key financial processes, improving team scalability and implementing outsourced staffing solutions for high-volume entries to enhance cost-efficiency.
- Drive ongoing integration and setup of the Netsuite financial system while also engaging in the financial process development within Cub Hub and future payroll systems.
- Play a key role in the integration process for future acquisitions within the PDN sector.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with a Private Equity group in some capacity (Required)
- Experience managing a large team of other finance professionals (Required)
- Experience using NetSuite/Oracle (Required)
- Prior experience working within post-acute care and pediatrics (Preferred)
- Prior experience working with any of the Big 4 Accounting firms or holding a CPA license is encouraging but not required
