Research and Development Technician

The Opportunity

The role of the compound agent is suppose the aromatic creation team (flavour preparation, organoleptic evaluation (raw material and/or flavour), testing, document management, research and modification of computer data, etc,). This permanent position will report to the R&D Team Leader.

• Carry out the measurement of the analytical data of the flavors
• Manage the raw materials required in the laboratory of the production of flavors
• Manage consumables, glassware and laboratory equipment
• Support the quality control and legislation team
• Respect the company's policies/instructions related to the quality system in place (HACCP/SQF)

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Relevant experience in the food or chemical industry is an asset
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices in food industry
• Good knowledge of English (spoken/written)
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
• Computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit
• Excellent organizational skills, precision, and attention to detail with good speed of execution
• Autonomy
• Critical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.44 per hour
