If so, as a field sales technician for Glass Doctor of Brevard County, you'll respond to inbound customer leads, meet with prospective customers at their location, provide a technical assessment and quote, and get the customer to agree to have Glass Doctor do the work. In many cases, you will then execute on what was promised and deliver top-quality work the same day.We will teach you the craftsmanship behind the quality work we do and equip you to be successful. We won’t micromanage you, but will provide you the resources you need to learn a variety of processes and techniques for different challenges. Responsibilities
- Removes and replaces auto, residential, and commercial glass applications
- Cuts glass in a precise fashion and handles product in an expert and safe manner
- Drives specially-stocked, specially-designed service vehicles in order to deliver customer services
- Expertly uses tools of the trade to perform all aspects of preparation, installation, and quality control of all products
- Effectively communicates with the customer to set and manage expectations
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored at all times
- Maintains leading-edge technical knowledge of the glass industry in order to offer viable solutions to customer problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Desirable qualifications: friendly and calm with a positive attitude, quality conscious, customer focused, and organized
- Must have the physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and balance necessary to perform all duties
- Prior experience with glass, construction, or manufacturing is ideal.
