Job Posting for Anticipated Opening - Mathematics Teacher: Thomas E. Bowe Middle School at Glassboro Public School District
Glassboro Public Schools is currently seeking a Math Teacher for a tenure track position at the Thomas E. Bowe Middle School beginning in the 2023-24 School Year. The position will open beginning on April 29, 2024.
Successful candidates must:
- Plan and implement a variety of rich instructional experiences to enhance student achievement and foster a love of mathematics.
- Use instructional strategies that are appropriate for the objectives and for the students.
- Design, develop, and infuse digital learning experiences that utilize technology. Proficiency with interactive whiteboards (Clear Touch Panels) is a plus.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and implement meaningful and engaging blended learning experiences.
- Implement formative assessment strategies to evaluate student progress as well as the effectiveness of instruction.
- Possess experience providing academic instruction to diverse populations.
- Support implementation of inclusive practices.
- Possess working experience with curricular planning and implementation.
- Establish a positive learning environment in which behavioral and academic expectations are communicated and reinforced.
- Create a classroom environment that supports the social/emotional learning needs of our students.
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow district and school policies, regulations, procedures, and rules.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a State of NJ Certification: (1102) Middle School w/Subject Matter Specialization: Mathematics or (1900) Mathematics.
- Ability to Work with a Diverse Population, Including Experience with ELL Students.
- Successful Completion of Fingerprinting and Criminal History Review Process.

Co-Certification: Students with Disabilities (2475) is a plus.
